A Fleet of Forklifts w/pallet coasters

Thanks to Dan Snow for posting his plans and for all of the help with questions I emailed back and forth. I finally got these finished for my wife for Christmas gifts for some people at her work. The bodies are made of Poplar, the forks of 1/4” Baltic birch. The wheels were purchased at a craft store. I used the router table with a pattern I made for the bodies and sides. Also used the router table to make the forks and the tower.

The pallet coasters are made from scrap oak, walnut, cherry and maple. The sides of the pallets are 1/4” wide x 3/8” high and 4” long. The slats are 1/8” thick 3/8” wide and 3 1/2” long. I spayed the pallets with a spit coat of shellac and then spar urethane, also applied felt pads to the bottoms.
