This frame is like the earlier Contemporary Mission Arts and Crafts frames that I have posted. This one is made from Cherry with 1/8” cooked maple inlaid strips. It is mortise and tenon construction. I matted the post card in a double mat with dark brown and then light brown to match the inlaid strips as well as make the post card “Pop”. This is a Christmas present for my eldest daughter and son in law. I have framed two of these for them for earlier Christmas presents, one in maple with walnut inlay and one with walnut with maple inlay. The pictures are not the best, lots of reflection of me and the camera!!!! Thank you for looking…..
